Our Space
Great Suffolk Yard comprises a collection of part new and part restoration 19th Century warehouse style buildings, with office space across six floors and a private cobbled courtyard at the centre. There will be an independent coffee shop in the atrium for all to use, including visitors, as well as secure cycle parking for 100 bicycles, showers, and locker facilities.

We have reused equipment and furniture from the various offices and will continue our efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

I absolutely love this area; everything is so close to Great Suffolk Yard. There are literally hundreds of places to eat and drink, and there are loads of parks to go for a walk around at lunchtime. Mint Street Park is my favourite so far as it’s so close to the office and there are places where you can sit to eat your lunch when the weather allows!

With space for over 200 people, you can make the most of the different work environments, collaborate in comfort, spend quiet time in the focus booths, create and brainstorm with white boards and soft seating, work at high benches and hot desks, or sit and catch up over a coffee.
GSY is a community space encouraging you to utilise the space indoors and outdoors, take a walking meeting around the historical area, lunch at Bankside, wander around the Tate, clear your mind with a walk along the river.
We would love to hear what works for you and for you to share your experiences of the GSY community.

Did you know?
The Marshalsea Prison (6 mins from GSY) was a large, notoriously cramped prison for debtors in the Victorian era, including Charles Dickens’ dad! The prison was run like a racket, and inmates could drink as much beer as they wanted, for five pence a pot in 1815 (prices have gone up a bit…)
